WSI employees to enter pleas in October

Sandy Blunt and Romi Leingang now have a date to enter their pleas in a conspiracy case The two WSI executives will be arraigned in South Central District court on October First Judge David Reich is handling the appearance Blunt is chief executive officer of the Workforce Safety and Insurance agency Leingang is director of the agency s investigations unit They re accused of conspiring to disclose confidential information as part of an internal investigation Investigators say they took drivers license photos from a Department of Transportation Web site The photos are normally confidential The W-S-I agency can use them for official purposes But prosecutors say the photos use didn t have anything to do with W-S-I s work Blunt was trying to track down the identity of a person who was e-mailing agency salary information to W-S-I employees
