Nichols and Sorenson In Court

At least 21 potential jurors have already been removed from the jury pool in the upcoming murder trial against Aron Nichols and Tamara Sorenson Aron Nichols is accused of killing Donald and Alice Willey a rural Sykeston couple and Tamara Sorenson is charged with being an accomplice to the murders The Willeys were found dead inside their burned down farm home on Easter Sunday of last year Nichols and Sorenson s trials are being held together in a Devils Lake courtroom During today s pretrial hearing the defense and prosecution agreed that 21 of the original 145 people in the jury pool should be removed from consideration The remaining 124 potential jurors will be questioned over a 4-day period when the defense and prosecution will have a chance to raise questions not included in the initial juror questionnaires The murder trial is scheduled for March 12th
